Gilbert Rhys MacLachlan - Fighter Poem - triolet

Gilbert Rhys MacLachlan
fallen in Fall Crown Tourney, A.S. XXXIV

Triolet for an Armorer

Strike the metal while it's hot
And test the mettle of the man.
To see what armor can be wrought
Strike the metal while it's hot.
To see if he will bend or not,
To temper one who'll rule the land,
Strike the metal while it's hot
And test the mettle of the man.

-- Pippin Skylark

...aways tart and crisp.
